The certification ceremony, held at Covalent’s Integrated Operations Centre, was a moment to celebrate Covalent's steadfast commitment to top-notch data security, protecting customers, and keeping financial integrity at the forefront.

Mr. Aziz A. Rahim – Chief Operating Officer of Risk Associates presented the PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance to Mr. Imran Qureshi - CEO of Covalent & Mr. Shahzad Shahid – Director of Covalent, at the ceremony.

Mr. Aziz A. Rahim – Chief Operating Officer of Risk Associates emphasized that this certification showcases Covalent's pivotal role in enhancing the security of sensitive cardholder data and fostering a secure payment environment in Pakistan.

Mr. Imran Qureshi of Covalent underscored the need of carrying out certifications like PCI DSS to re-assess the cybersecurity posture of all organizations that handle sensitive cardholder data. He also commended the C4i team of Covalent in taking the lead in getting the infrastructure & services re-certified on PCI DSS v4.0 and on taking the initiative of building an effective cyber threat intelligence framework in collaboration with multiple local and international entities.

Mr Shahzad Shahid of Covalent appreciated the work that Risk Associates is doing in this space and also discussed further areas of collaboration between the entire group of companies ands stressed on increased focus on all aspects of cybersecurity.

The ceremony was attended by key personalities, including Mr. Hashim Mufti - Head of Business Development & Strategy and Mr. Syed Junaid Rizvi, Senior Manager – ERS of Risk Associates and Mr. Haris Waheed – COO of Covalent, along with other representatives from both organizations.

Several individuals were presented with shields and awards for their exceptional efforts and dedication in achieving PCI DSS v4.0 compliance for Covalent.
