The official certificate presentation ceremony was held at Eastern Bank PLC’s corporate office in Dhaka, marking a significant milestone in the Bank’s journey towards operational resilience and cybersecurity excellence.
During the ceremony, Dr Aftab Rizvi, Chief Executive Officer of Risk Associates, formally presented the PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance to Zahidul Haque, Chief Technology Officer of Eastern Bank PLC, in the presence of Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Head of IT Security and Compliance.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rizvi commended Eastern Bank PLC for its proactive and strategic approach towards strengthening card data security and maintaining compliance with international best practices. He emphasised that PCI DSS certification reflects the Bank’s dedication to protecting sensitive financial information while fostering customer confidence in secure digital banking services.
