Signing Ceremony Between Risk Associates and ONE Bank PLC for SWIFT CSP Assessment

Dhaka, Bangladesh – 25th September, 2024 – A formal signing ceremony took place between Risk Associates and ONE Bank PLC, signalling the start of an Independent Assessment of ONE Bank’s SWIFT system and related in-scope components under SWIFT’s Customer Security Program (CSP).

The assessment will ensure compliance with SWIFT's rigorous security standards, enhancing the bank’s resilience against cyber threats.

The assessment will be carried out by SWIFT Certified Assessors from Risk Associates, who bring extensive expertise in SWIFT CSP evaluations. These assessors are trained to provide a detailed, independent review of the bank’s SWIFT infrastructure to ensure full alignment with the security requirements set forth by SWIFT.

During the Signing ceremony, Mr. Taslimul Haque, Country Head of Risk Associates, and Ms. Mahmida Akter, Business Development Manager, were present to represent Risk Associates. From ONE Bank PLC, Mr. Hasnain Ahmed, Senior Vice President and Head of the IT Department, and Mr. K. M. Mohiuddin, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), participated in the ceremony.
