
Islamabad – May 25, 2026: MCB Islamic Bank has successfully achieved PCI DSS v4.0.1 certification, reinforcing its commitment to securing cardholder data and meeting international cybersecurity standards.
The certification was awarded by Risk Associates, a globally recognised PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), following an independent assessment of MCB Islamic Bank’s cardholder data environment and payment infrastructure.
The PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance was formally presented by Kashif Hassan (Managing Director of Risk Associates) along with Mr. Navaid Naqvi (Executive Director of Risk Associates), to the senior leadership of MCB Islamic Bank.

The ceremony brought together senior leadership and representatives from both organisations, including Mr. Asif Iqbal, CISO and Mr. Abrar Aleem, CIO of MCB Islamic Bank, to celebrate the achievement of PCI DSS v4.0.1 certification.
